Environmental Assesments

ARC Environmental Services is staffed to provide environmental impact assessment EIA/EA and environmental site assessment (Phase I and II) services to its clients.   ARC Environmental Services personnel possess a unique blend of experience and technical training, and have completed assessments aimed at evaluating potential impacts of a proposed activity or action.  Environmental Assessments (EA) for two new outfalls were completed for the Guam Water Works Authority (GWA).  ARC Environmental Services Inc. is currently completing Environmental Assessments for proposed rehabilitation of fisheries processing operations in the states of Chuuk, Pohnpei, Yap and Kosrae in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM).

Phase I site assessments have been completed to determine the overall environmental “health” of a property (particularly with respect to potential hazardous materials and or petroleum product contamination of soil and ground water) as a result of historical land use activities.   Over 25 Phase I ESAs have been completed to date.  ARC Environmental Services utilizes the latest ASTM 1527-05 guidelines for performing Phase I ESAs as amended to include the “All Appropriate Inquiry” rules contained in the Brownfields Amendments.
